Itinerary

  1. This is the oldest working parliament in the world. There you will walk on old battlegrounds where the Vikings fought among each other in countless battles. Þingvellir is also a place where 2 continents meet. Imagine yourself strolling through a canyon which walls are made from 2 tectonic plates: European and American. A truly remarkable experience!

    40 min

  2. Discover Bruarfoss, often called “Iceland’s Bluest Waterfall.” Its serene turquoise waters tumble over dark lava rocks, framed by vibrant moss, creating a truly magical scene. This hidden gem is a photographer’s paradise and a peaceful retreat into Iceland’s untouched wilderness.

    30 min

  3. At  Geysir, you will witness an eruption of hot water going almost 20 or so meters up into the air. The whole area is a geological wonder covered in steam coming from the geothermal activity - an experience you will never forget!

    30 min

  4. When visiting the Gullfoss waterfall you will be stunned by the scale of this famous waterfall. Many cascades of fast pacing water dropping down to a canyon while producing amazing rainbows (with the right weather) is just a jaw-dropping experience! This is also a great place for lunch and for shopping. We can recommend the traditional Icelandic soup (there is always an option without meat): it will keep you full and warm for the rest of the day.

    1 h

  5. Kerið is a volcanic crater lake. You can have a walk around the ridges or even go down and touch the gleaming surface of the water.

About Reykjavik

Reykjavik is the northernmost capital of any nation, a colourful, compact city of art and music that opens onto Iceland's volcanic landscapes.

The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church, its tower inspired by basalt columns, rises above streets of brightly painted houses. Down by the harbour, the glass-fronted Harpa concert hall shimmers on the water, and the Sun Voyager sculpture faces the sea toward Mount Esja. Laugavegur, the main shopping street, is lined with design shops, cafés and bars.

Top-ranked sights in Reykjavik: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Harpa.
