Itinerary
Set out early in the morning at 7am to arrive at Secas Lagoon, also known as "Laguna de Secas" in Spanish. This lagoon is situated in the Ecuadorian region of Pichincha. Pintag is the closest town. The "Secas" Lagoon (Laguna de Secas) was created when the Antisana volcano erupted more than 400 years ago. The lava from the eruption split apart and was carried by the nearby river. The Cayambe-Coca reserve's rain forest is characterized by the enormous petrified lava boulders.
We will go birdwatching and observe animals such as the Carunculated Cara Cara, Andean Lapwing, Andean Gull, Páramo Pipit, Black Faced Ibis, White-Tailed Deer, etc. on the grounds of the EPMAPS control house. Additionally, we may see many bird species on "La Mica's" lagoon, including the Andean ruddy duck, Andean teal, Andean cock, silvery grebe, yellow-billed pintail and more...
As we travel through the community of Pintag, we arrive at the Isco viewpoint, where the Andean condor rests. Along the way, we will see a variety of hummingbird species, including the enormous hummingbird, the Ecuadorian hillstar, the black-tailed trainbearer, and the Tyrian metal tail. Next, we proceed to 4000 meters, or nearly 13000 feet, where we may witness various wildlife such as the paramo pipit, black-faced ibis, varied hawk, Andean Gull, and Andean Lapwing. Next, we move on to the "La Mica" lagoon where we may see a variety of bird species, including the Andean ruddy duck, Andean teal, Andean cock, silvery grebe, yellow-billed pintail, and others. Following that, we'll head back to the "Tambo Condor" restaurant for a traditional Andean meal while keeping an eye on the condors and other hummingbirds. About 25 different bird species are visible. After that, head back to Quito.

About Quito
Quito, Ecuador's high Andean capital, has one of the best-preserved colonial centres in Latin America, ringed by volcanoes and green mountains.
The historic centre was among the very first places named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its churches, plazas and monasteries are spectacular. La Compañía de Jesús glows with gold leaf inside, the Basilica del Voto Nacional has gargoyles shaped like Ecuadorian animals, and Plaza Grande is surrounded by the cathedral and the presidential palace.
Top-ranked sights in Quito: Cotopaxi National Park, Basilica of the National Vow (La Basílica del Voto Nacional), Independence Plaza (Plaza de la Independencia).
