5Great people. Great food.
Had a great time drinking and enjoying the host. It was great to meet the chef. I enjoyed them explaining the history behind the food.
5Great Belizian cooking class!
We loved our cooking class today. Oscar was a great instructor and threw in some fun little tidbits along the way. The dishes we made were delicious! I was fun to sit at the restaurant and eat what we made after class. So good!
5Delicious
Fun experience and great food. Learned a lot about Central American an Mayan food, and tried some new (local CA) fruits / veggies, as the staff was fun and knowledgable. In addition to making ceviche, we made three pupusas (one was a dessert pupusa), each. So much food that we asked for to go boxes! Tour was slightly shorter than 3 hours - about 2 hours to make the food and then we ate around noon. This is hosted in the restaurant - open air, so it's a bit loud with golf carts and such passing by.
1They never told us we had...
They never told us we had to take a boat to another island from where the ship docked . If we had missed our boat it would have cost us more then we lost . We had no way to contact them until we got back to the states . So we lost all the money we paid . Learned a lesson book threw the cruise ship only
5Great experience!
Excellent staff, delicious food! Great to meet others who also attended.
5Great!
The experience was so fun! Food was great (some seafood, but even if you don’t like seafood it’s worth it)!

About Ambergris Caye
Ambergris Caye is Belize's largest island, a long, low strip of sand and mangrove with a barrier reef a short boat ride from shore.
Ambergris Caye lies off the north-east coast of Belize, divided from the Mexican mainland by a narrow channel at its northern tip. The island runs for about forty kilometres, mostly flat and fringed with palms, and nearly everyone lives at its southern end in San Pedro, a small town of sandy streets where golf carts and bicycles are as common as cars.
Top-ranked sights in Ambergris Caye: Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, San Pedro.
