5Excellent and fun class!
The cook class was wonderful. We made apple strudel and pretzels. Dinner was served as well. The two women were excellent!
5Amazing cooking class and music experience!!
Our group of 24 absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this experience! The venue, the staff, the expertise instructions, the food and the beautiful singing!! Wow! Exceeded our expectations and we all left full and smiling!
5Cooking Like an Austrian
Very interactive! You will come away full and delighted with your baking. Prep work is done for you and you get to enjoy the fun.
5Amazing food, opera and fun!
What an amazing time. I can’t eat another apple strudel again unless I’ll make it myself. The instruction was so thorough and clear…the young woman was who was our chef (Kylie, I believe) was quite talented in stretching the dough. The pretzels as well were the best I’ve had in all the land! I can’t believe I made them! We will see if our delicious cooking can be replicated at home. The venue is incredible…a little kitchen built into the side of a mountain. So cozy and intriguing! To make it all even more amazing they serve us the best beef goulash ever along side your fresh hot pretzel and your own apple strudel for dessert. And for dinner entertainment the assistant who just so happens to be a student of Opera performs some of the most amazing songs. Truly talented young woman whose name I can’t spell or pronounce but is a final year student at the university. Bring some euros so you can get some wine or beer or schnapps which are available for purchase. Water is provided for free. And then if that’s not enough they give you a piece of strudel to take home with you. It was a truly remarkable evening.
5Fun night for our family!
My family had a fun night at Edelweiss Cooking school making pretzels, apple strudel and enjoying dinner (main entree provided).
3This was a great...
This was a great experience but I gave it three stars because it was so expensive and I believe it should’ve included a glass of wine or beer and not to be charged on top of what we’ve already paid! We only made apple strudel and pretzel, and I don’t believe it’s that expensive for how much we paid. I think it would’ve just made the experience a lot better. All of the cooking classes we’ve been to have had drinks included.

About Salzburg
Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart, is a baroque city on the Salzach River beneath a hilltop fortress, with the Alps at its edge.
The old town, on the left bank of the Salzach, is a UNESCO World Heritage site of baroque church domes, narrow lanes and arcaded courtyards, built on the salt trade and presided over by the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Mozart was born in 1756 in a yellow house on Getreidegasse, now a museum, while Residenzplatz and Domplatz hold the cathedral and the palaces of the prince-archbishops.
