Itinéraire

  1. It is the most traditional walk with the best panoramic views, it begins bordering the Nahuel Huapi Lake along E. Bustillo Avenue where you can see at km 8 Playa Bonita, appreciating Huemul Island from there. Ten km later and after seeing different landscapes you will reach Cerro Campanario. In this place there is a chairlift that takes the traveler to the summit from where one of the most beautiful views of the lake region can be appreciated (the ascent is optional). Then the route continues, at km 18 it deviates towards the area of El Trébol lagoon, Moreno lake, Panoramic Point and a low intensity walk is made through the Arrayanes Trail in the Llao Llao Municipal Reserve, where they stand out the forests of Coihues and the lush vegetation. We visit the area of Puerto Pañuelo, the great Llao Llao Hotel and the San Eduardo Chapel. You return to Bariloche by Avda. Ascent Cerro Campanario $ 500. Less than $ 250.

About Bariloche

Bariloche is an alpine-style resort on Lake Nahuel Huapi in Argentine Patagonia, with ski slopes, chocolate shops and forests below the Andes.

San Carlos de Bariloche stands on the southern shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi, in a glacial valley with the Andes rising behind it. The civic centre, built of stone and dark timber in the 1930s, gives the town its alpine look, and the Museo de la Patagonia is housed inside it. Nahuel Huapi National Park, the oldest in Argentina, surrounds the town with lakes, beech forest and rocky peaks.

Top-ranked sights in Bariloche: Centro Cívico, Arrayanes Forest (Bosque de Arrayanes), Nahuel Huapi Lake.
