Your full-day journey to Machu Picchu begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Our driver will meet you at the confirmed time and take you in a comfortable vehicle to the train station. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful Andean scenery as you travel toward the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival at the station, you will receive assistance before boarding your train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Sit back and enjoy one of Peru’s most scenic train journeys, surrounded by impressive mountains, valleys, and changing landscapes as you make your way toward the legendary Inca citadel. Everything is carefully coordinated in advance to make your journey comfortable and stress-free from the moment you leave your hotel.
Arrival in Aguas Calientes & Bus to Machu Picchu Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), travelers will board the shuttle bus for the approximately 30-minute ride up to the entrance of Machu Picchu. After the guided visit to Machu Picchu, travelers will return by shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes, where they will have approximately one hour of free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included), explore the town, or relax before boarding the train for the return journey to Ollantaytambo.
Small-Group Guided Tour of Machu Picchu Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, begin a small-group guided walking tour through the legendary Inca citadel. Accompanied by a professional guide, explore its ancient terraces, ceremonial areas, temples, stairways, and remarkable stonework while learning about the history, architecture, and significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit follows the official circuit assigned to your Machu Picchu entrance ticket, allowing you to discover the highlights available along that route and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Andes. Return to Ollantaytambo & Transfer to Cusco After enjoying the scenic train journey from Aguas Calientes, travelers will arrive at Ollantaytambo train station. Our driver will be waiting at the station to assist with the transfer back to Cusco. From Ollantaytambo, continue by comfortable vehicle through the Sacred Valley toward Cusco. Upon arrival, travelers will be dropped off at their hotel or accommodation within the designated drop-off area, completing the full-day Machu Picchu experience.
