The Andrés Del Castillo Museum — MAD brings together science, art, and history through a collection of more than 3,000 pieces that allows one to know the natural and cultural wealth of Peru. The visit includes the Fluorescent Minerals Room, where some pieces reveal their properties under ultraviolet light, and a virtual reality experience that transports you inside a mine shaft. The museum is located in Casa Belén, a republican-style house located in the Historic Center of Lima, a few steps from Plaza San Martín. It is open every day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
