5Beautiful hike along rushing waters with emerald green pools that culminate with an amazing waterfall.
Beautiful rushing waters that also features emerald green pools that reveal bass fish swimming if you look closely. Incredible!
5Vintnar gorge hike
It made getting to and from this lovely gorge walk very easy. The tasting at the end was delicious. I enjoyed getting to try a variety of dumplings. Note: the gorge hike was easy hiking, but the climb to the bar at then was fairly steep
5Vintgar Gorge
This is WAY better than going to Gorge on your own. The pick up was prompt and the bus driver was super nice. Pick up location was super easy to find.
4The pick up location is...
The pick up location is just down from the bus terminal across the street from a cafe. The walk through the gorge is beautiful and relatively flat but at the end you need to go up dozens and dozens of stairs. Very steep. But worth it. The beer and sweets at the end was a nice treat on a very hot day.
5Wonderful
Best way to see Vintgar Gorge! It was very convenient to be dropped off at the entrance. The walk through the Gorge was stunning. After going through the Gorge we did another short hike to the meeting point, which is a cafe with tastings. Lovely day

About Bled
Bled, in the Julian Alps of Slovenia, is a lakeside resort with a clifftop castle and a small island church reached by wooden boat.
Lake Bled is a glacial lake set among forested hills, with the peaks of the Julian Alps and the long ridge of the Karawanks behind. On a rock above the north shore, Bled Castle, first recorded in the early eleventh century, is among the oldest in Slovenia. In the middle of the lake, a small island carries the Church of the Assumption, reached by a flight of 99 steps from the landing.
