Highlights
Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. We are delighted to have you on this budget day tour from early morning as well as your picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is famous for its many elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing lions. Its name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park and is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons. It is also home to more than 550 bird species and the swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds.

Itinerary
After early morning breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide/driver will pick you up and depart for a game drive to encounter Africa’s wilderness at Tarangire National Park. With a picnic lunch box, you will have a lunch break in the afternoon and then continue with your game drive as you depart. Our driver will take you back to your hotel or airport in the late afternoon.

About Arusha
Arusha, in northern Tanzania beneath Mount Meru, is the starting point for safaris to the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.
The town sits on the green lower slopes of Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest peak, with coffee farms and banana groves on its outskirts and a busy central market at its heart.
