Even though this beautiful waterfall is not one of the biggest in the country, it is one of the Icelandic people’s most well-loved waterfalls due to its location and for its historical significance.
The majestic waterfall Gullfoss is a great sight which contains a lot of historic and cultural moments for Iceland. Probably the most photographed waterfall in Iceland.
It get´s it´s name from being a Geyser. It erupts every 5 minutes or so and a great show all the time.
