  • 5Seeing stars in Wadi Rum. Nectar for the eyes and the brain.

Terrific educational and entertaining experience. The Guide/Host was knowledgeable, articulate, professional and passionate about what he was presenting to a mixed audience.

  • 5Unexpected Incredible Stargazing Experience

Unexpected incredible experience. The two distinguished astronomers came to our hotel and walked us through telescope and naked eye stargazing. They answered all of our questions and even showed us Saturn in the telescope. It was a unique and easy one hour activity. They also capture a great group photo with the milky way! Would highly recommend!

About Aqaba

Aqaba is Jordan's only seaport, a warm Red Sea resort town at the head of its gulf, backed by desert mountains and near Wadi Rum and Petra.

Aqaba sits at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba, at the north end of the Red Sea, with the mountains of Edom behind it and Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia on the other shores of the gulf. Jordan's only seaport, it has been a trading place since ancient times, and an early Islamic city, Ayla, has excavated remains on the seafront. The fort near the harbour dates from the Mamluk period, and Aqaba fell to the forces of the Arab Revolt in 1917.
