  • 5Top rainforest, hiking tour

Had a wonderful day with Jean. He picked us up at the port and gave us a great experience. Went hiking through the rainforest, jumping off of rock formations into the water swinging from ropes. Into the water riding down rock waterslide. It was great having an experienced tour guide, who gave us directions down to specific step on this rock here, and step on that rock there for the safety that is needed. This is the one you want, don’t hesitate book now. Would highly recommend this company and I would give them 10 stars if I could.

  • 5Amazing experience.

Amazing experience! We had many adventures planned in our week-long trip to Puerto Rico and this was easily the highlight for the entire family. The views were breathtaking and our guide Enrique was a big reason behind our positive experience. He was patient and helpful in getting us through the terrain (youngest kid was 10). We did the 7am slot and I wouldn’t change a thing. Having the river basically to yourself was a unique and serene experience. Halfway through our adventure, Enrique pulled out a bag of fresh local fruit and chopped it up beautifully for us to enjoy. Highly recommend, very family friendly.

  • 5Best, personalized El Yunque tour - private and you beat the crowds!

This excursion was phenomenal! Because our group was so small and left early in the morning, we missed the large crowds that came flooding in at the end of our trip. Our tour guide Ricky was simply amazing; he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest and our safety was our top priority to him. The natural water slide and rope swing were a blast and Ricky provided us delicious fresh fruit at the end of our tour, which was incredibly refreshing. What I really appreciated was the level of communication the night before and morning of our excursion - Ricky and Jean contacted us via text and provided everything single detail we needed to be prepared and meet up for our trip - they made it SO EASY as we weren’t very familiar with the area. This trip was a birthday present for my daughter; we will never forget it. Oh, and don’t worry about bringing a camera - Ricky took FANTASTIC pictures and videos of us along the way. Ricky, you are the best! We’ll definitely come back.

  • 5Beautiful experience!

We had an amazing time at El Yunque with our tour guides, Jean and Daniel, and the rest of our group! The rainforest is absolutely beautiful, and the water was so refreshing. Jean and Daniel made the experience even better, they always made sure no one was left behind and that everyone stayed safe throughout the hike. We had such a great experience and will definitely come back. Thank you, Jean and Daniel!

About Luquillo

Luquillo is a beach town on Puerto Rico's north-east coast, beside El Yunque rainforest, with a palm-fringed beach and roadside food kiosks.

Luquillo sits on Puerto Rico's north-east coast, where the green slopes of the Luquillo Mountains meet the Atlantic. La Monserrate beach, a long crescent of sand with palms and calm shallow water, is a favourite with families. Behind the town the mountains rise into El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest in the United States national forest system, with waterfalls, hiking trails and the tiny coquí tree frogs that sing after dark.
