Triglav Seven Lakes are known as one of the most beautiful valleys in the Julian Alps. The legend says if you throw a rock into one of the lakes, it will rain. The hike itself is quite a long one, with steep terrain only at the very beginning. About Bled
Bled, in the Julian Alps of Slovenia, is a lakeside resort with a clifftop castle and a small island church reached by wooden boat.
Lake Bled is a glacial lake set among forested hills, with the peaks of the Julian Alps and the long ridge of the Karawanks behind. On a rock above the north shore, Bled Castle, first recorded in the early eleventh century, is among the oldest in Slovenia. In the middle of the lake, a small island carries the Church of the Assumption, reached by a flight of 99 steps from the landing.
