Highlights
Starting with the Bayon (known as Angkor Thom – literally means ‘big city’), you will be guided to see the temple’s most distinctive feature that has the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. You will move to the next temple nearby, the Terrace of the Elephants, an impressive, two and a half-meter tall, 300-meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and garudas spanning the front of Baphuon, Phimeanakas and the Royal Palace area at the heart of Angkor Thom. Then, you will also see the Terrace of the Leper King which is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants. Ta Prohm‘s state of ruin is a state of beauty. You will be amazed by the spectacular scene of banyan and kapok trees spreading their gigantic roots over stones, probing walls and terraces apart, as their branches and leaves intertwine to form a roof over the structures. Trunks of trees twist amongst stone pillars.

Angkor Wat is a monumental Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world. Built in the early 12th century by Khmer King Suryavarman II, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has become a symbol of Cambodia, even appearing on its national flag.
The South Gate is the most famous and best-preserved of the five gates into ancient Angkor Thom, a city in Cambodia, built in the late 12th century. It is known for its impressive causeway lined with statues of 54 devas (gods) and 54 asuras (demons) pulling a naga (mythical serpent). The gate is a popular entry point for visitors traveling between Angkor Wat and the Bayon temple and is frequently photographed, particularly for its imposing multi-faced tower and the rows of statues on either side of the bridge.
Inside the complex, we will first visit the Bayon with 200 endless smiling faces. This temple mountain situated in the center of Angkor Thom City where sets the Bayon apart from many other Angkor monuments.
we will continue to the Elephant Terrace, which owes its name to its outstanding depiction of these animals and the Terrace of Leper King, which presents a magnificent sculpture, popularly known as the leper king.
In Ta Prohm, get enchanted with the sight of the ruins taken over by tree roots, a demonstration of the awesome power of nature. Learn how the controversial site was left by French archaeologists to the destructive power of the jungle. Return to your hotel after tour.
