5Must see in Iceland
Fantastic museum - a must for anyone visiting Iceland. The Volcano experience was amazing and so 3D (the rumbling seats and moving visuals are outstanding) and the ice caves and auroras fab as well.
5Very informative and great special effects
Give 2 hours for the whole experience bring a jacket, because the ice cave is cold. Enjoy the informative exhibits.
5Great Day Out
I really liked Perlan. It was educational and gave us a good insight into Icelands history. Loved learning about Daisy the Polar Bear. Loved the Northern Lights show, loved the Lava Show. Did not really enjoy the Ice Cave experience as did not feel very authentic ut would suit little children. However this would not put me off going again. We ate in the resturant upstairs and really enjoyed the panoramic views. Great day was had by all. Well done Perlan team
4Perlan, Reykjavík — 9/10
Expensive, but that's Iceland for you. And honestly, it's worth every króna: the exhibits are genuinely fascinating and beautifully done — a great way to understand the country's glaciers, volcanoes and nature. The staff deserve a special mention: very available, helpful and efficient throughout our visit. Highly recommended, especially if the weather turns and you're looking for something to do in Reykjavík.
5Don’t miss the Perlan museum of natural history!
Fantastic volcano and northern lights exhibits. As well as a cold ice tunnel and interactive glacier exhibit and more. Turned out to be most of our day as time flew by. Snack and lunch area on upper rotating are with outside deck to take pics.
5Make some time to go to Perlan
We thought this was more of a museum but it turned out to be more of an experience. Highly recommend it. Great movies in IMax style gave one the “I’m flying” feeling. Walking thru the ice cave was fun …but if you’re bothered by tight spaces with other people beware of the ice caves. Very nice staff. We already have recommended it to others

About Reykjavik
Reykjavik is the northernmost capital of any nation, a colourful, compact city of art and music that opens onto Iceland's volcanic landscapes.
The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church, its tower inspired by basalt columns, rises above streets of brightly painted houses. Down by the harbour, the glass-fronted Harpa concert hall shimmers on the water, and the Sun Voyager sculpture faces the sea toward Mount Esja. Laugavegur, the main shopping street, is lined with design shops, cafés and bars.
Top-ranked sights in Reykjavik: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Harpa.
