5Piran is worth seeing
We are very pleased with our tour guide. The organization was also excellent. The duration of the tour was just right, and the places we visited were truly interesting. The road to Piran also offers many beautiful views.
4Bust trip to Piran from Koper Cruise Port.
This was just a bus trip from the cruise port to Piran where we were left to our own plans which was excellent. The timings were spot on and the guide on the bus was very clear and informative. I would recommend this trip as Piran is a lovely town.
4Tour guide and bus driver...
Tour guide and bus driver were excellent. Gave a lot of history and narrative of the region. Two hours is plenty of time to explore Piran. Quiet town with not a lot of tourists. Nice to be able to walk by the water. It was just very very hot the day we toured.
5Excellent tour. Highly recommended
The guide for this experience was friendly and very knowledgeable.
4Very good destination with a few little setbacks
Piran was a very beautiful location to visit - highly recommended. However our first stop en route to look back at a village was not woth it. Bus parking spot was taken so we had to navigate a very busy steep road on foot for a quick photo. Hot day too. i would have preferred this time in Piran instead. A small thing but no sweet treat given as promised. apparently ran out for the day and this was at 9:30 am. Its in title of the trip! a little disorganized trying to load bus and A/C on bus was almost non existent on a hot day
3It was fine
Bus had minimal air conditioning and it was a hot day. We also did not get the advertised “sweet surprise”, though that wasn’t a big deal. It’s a thing to do while in port but may not be the best thing.

About Koper
Koper, on Slovenia's short Adriatic coast, is a port town with a Venetian-style old centre, close to salt pans, Istrian hills and Trieste.
Koper stands on Slovenia's small stretch of the Adriatic, on the northern side of the Istrian peninsula, as a working port with a compact old town. For centuries it was a Venetian possession called Capodistria, and its main square, Tito Square, is framed by the Praetorian Palace, the loggia and the cathedral, whose tower can be climbed for a view of the bay. The cathedral holds a painting by Carpaccio.
