One Day Dead Sea From Aqaba
- 7–12 hours
- Private tour
- Mobile ticket
Highlights
A spectacular natural wonder the Dead Sea that is located 427 meters below sea level is perfect for wellness and religious tourism, fun in the sun with the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sun while Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Sea's rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun.

Itinerary
• It has always been a magical seen to anyone to view the sunset touching the distant hills with Ribbons of Fire across the waters of the Dead Sea, a scene of unreality at the LOWEST POINT ON EARTH (400 Meter # 1200 feet below ocean level). • The sea is devoid of any life form due to an extremely high density of salts & minerals. This very same natural quality which gives the DEAD SEA its name and makes it impossible to sink in its waters and provide the spectacular phenomenon of Floating and gives the Dead Sea waters a healing powers for many skin diseases. This quality has been recognized 200 years ago at eth days of the Roman Emperor HEROD THE great.

About Aqaba
Aqaba is Jordan's only seaport, a warm Red Sea resort town at the head of its gulf, backed by desert mountains and near Wadi Rum and Petra.
Aqaba sits at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba, at the north end of the Red Sea, with the mountains of Edom behind it and Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia on the other shores of the gulf. Jordan's only seaport, it has been a trading place since ancient times, and an early Islamic city, Ayla, has excavated remains on the seafront. The fort near the harbour dates from the Mamluk period, and Aqaba fell to the forces of the Arab Revolt in 1917.
