Highlights

Join a family-run company from Rovaniemi for a unique Northern Lights adventure. More than just aurora hunting, this is a hands-on photography experience where you’ll learn to capture the Arctic skies yourself. With a local guide using real-time weather and solar data, you’ll travel as far as needed for the best chance of seeing the aurora. While waiting, discover the secrets of aurora photography and get professional portraits under the lights. Wrapped in warm blankets with hot drinks, enjoy stories of Lapland, aurora myths, and life in the North. Although the tour includes photography guidance, it is not only for those passionate about taking pictures. Anyone can join – even those who simply want to enjoy the beauty of Lapland’s nature. To crown the night, receive a Northern Lights Hunting Certificate — a personal souvenir of your Arctic journey. This is more than a tour: it’s an intimate blend of storytelling, photography, and hospitality.

About Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi, on the edge of the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland, is a river city known for Santa Claus Village, northern lights, reindeer and deep snow.

Rovaniemi is the capital of Finnish Lapland, set where the Kemijoki and Ounasjoki rivers join, just south of the Arctic Circle. The town was rebuilt after being burnt in the Second World War, and its street plan, drawn by the architect Alvar Aalto, is said to echo a reindeer's antlers. Arktikum, a museum and science centre, tells the story of life in the Arctic, and a lit footbridge known as the Lumberjack's Candle crosses the river.
