5Best Ride of My Life
Absolutely incredible experience. Beautiful scenery, fun twisty roads,, great bikes, and most importantly amazing people. Our guide Nehemias was the best. Super friendly, very experienced rider, very knowledgeable and a great hang overall. My buddy got a flat tire in the off-roading section and Nehemias just traded bikes and rode out on a flat tire like a pro. He found the nearest mechanic to fix the flat and it was also a barber shop so my friend got a haircut while we were there. We also got to go cliff jumping, tons of tours, met super cool people, I could go on and on about this day but really it was an amazing adventure. Some things don’t always go to plan but that is part of the fun, and they handled it very well. Thanks so much Nehemias!
5Best way to see Atitlan!
Awesome experience on two wheels around the lake. Beautiful views and varied terrain including pavement, dirt, twisted, and small towns. Informative stops for coffee, chocolate, weaving, and ceramics. Recommend to all!
5Smooth, scenic, and absolutely worth having a guide to cover ground 😏
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smooth, scenic, and absolutely worth having a guide This motorcycle tour was an excellent experience from start to finish. Riding solo meant I had great flexibility, so We winged it perfectly, and Yeshua made everything feel smooth and natural rather than overly planned !! 💥 The ride offered an amazing mix of terrain and scenery—small towns, lakeshore riding, and mountain roads, all in one day. We took one route out, went partway around Lake Atitlán, stopped in Santiago for lunch in a chill setting + scenic, and returned via a different road, for roughly ±100 km total 🏁 The ride back was especially memorable, with a great balance of scenic sections and lots of sick twisties on the ½ back, clearly chosen by someone who truly understands riding and the area 🔥 Off course, road conditions weren’t perfect, with potholes along the way, but that’s just the reality of riding here. The motorcycles aren’t premium, but they were practically new, well maintained, and perfectly suited to the conditions, which is really all you can ask for 👍🏻 Big thanks to Yeshua for safely leading throughout the whole ride. His knowledge of the region is impressive - I could ask him anything and he always had an answer!!! You can ride this area on your own, but you’ll cover far more ground and get much more out of it with a guide like him 😎 Booking the guide was absolutely worth it and allowed me to discover scattered hiden 💎. I highly recommend asking for Yeshua if you're a seasoned rider !!
5Motorcycling around Lake Atitlan
The motorcycle tour around the mountains and villages of lake Atitlan was a lot of fun! A good mixture of adventure and culture. As an inexperienced rider I was a bit nervous at first but ended up on a private tour with Yeshua (not sure about spelling) as the guide. He was very nice, accommodating and professional. He provided a lot of information, spoke perfect English and took nice photos and videos. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it!
5Great motorcycle tour of Lake Atitlan!
We had a great experience with our guide Sebastian! He was a very chill, friendly guy and we thought that the balance between riding and stopping to see things was perfect. The actual ride had lots of fun twisties through the mountains and along cliffs above the lake, about 10% off-roading which was exciting, and some riding through towns. As a newer rider with short legs 😆 who is not accustomed to lane-splitting and so many steep hills, it was definitely a bit challenging but Sebastian was very easy to follow, patient, and good about signaling slowing down/overtaking. For my boyfriend who is an experienced rider, it was easy but still engaging and fun. Our favorites were the weaving and chocolate demonstration. We never felt rushed and every viewpoint we stopped at was gorgeous! Highly recommend this tour!
5Adventure of a LIFETIME!
This excursion is a must do for anyone wanting the ultimate combination of excitement, adventure, adrenaline, culture, and views! Nami our guide was a consummate professional! His knowledge of the area and culture was unparalleled! He spoke great English and left no question unanswered! He was extremely patient and had an inspiring positive attitude! This was the best experience of our stay in Atitlan!

About Panajachel
Panajachel is a lakeside town on Lake Atitlán in the Guatemalan highlands, ringed by volcanoes and Maya villages reached by ferry.
Panajachel stands on the northern shore of Lake Atitlán, at about 1,560 metres, in the Guatemalan highlands. The lake fills a vast volcanic caldera, and the cones of the Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro volcanoes rise from its southern shore. Calle Santander, the main street, runs down to the water lined with stalls selling woven textiles, and Kaqchikel Maya families still live and work in the town.
