Itinerary
Starting on the right foot, we visit LaClac, a beautiful organic wine tasting room from the creators of L'Apero and Miettes. We'll taste a few exceptional pours to awaken the palate and officially launch our culinary venture.
Mercado 24 is an award-winning Guatemalan restaurant that follows the golden rule of using only fresh, daily produce. Taking its name from Guatemala City's 23 municipal markets, Chef Pablo Díaz envisions his restaurant as the city's 24th—a vibrant destination dedicated to dining on the freshest local ingredients. As seen on Netflix.
Our journey continues at Flor de Lis, where Chef Diego Tellez pushes the absolute boundaries of Guatemalan gastronomy. Here, we’ll taste an artistic, high-concept bite that brilliantly blends ancient flavors with modern culinary techniques, showcasing the true creative pulse of Zone 4.
Shifting gears from high-concept dining to the neighborhood's vibrant casual scene, we arrive at Opíparo. This local favorite perfectly captures the youthful energy of Zone 4, specializing in incredible gourmet comfort food where absolutely everything is made entirely from scratch.
We bring our culinary journey to a close at GULA, a local favorite that embodies the bold, inventive spirit of Zone 4’s casual dining scene. Serving as our grand finale, this is where we’ll raise a glass for our final drink and dig into an unapologetically creative, flavor-packed bite—the perfect send-off to our neighborhood crawl.

Guatemala City sits in a highland valley at about 1,500 metres, which keeps the climate mild. The city is divided into numbered zones, and Zona 1, the historic centre, has the Plaza de la Constitución, the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Zona 10, the modern district, holds the newer hotels, restaurants and galleries.
