The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive. Your open water dive takes you as deep as 12 metres/40 feet! (Of course this depends on where you dive.) You must check-in by 7:30. If you are late and miss the boat, a refund will not be granted.

4If you ever wanted to try scuba diving, this is the one
This was so much fun! It was also a good test of my body! I’ve never gone scuba diving before, but wanted to give it a try and this was perfect in order to get me started on my scuba diving journey. My guides on this excursion were Josh, Carroll and Miguel. All of them were phenomenal and very friendly. They were also very encouraging with a newbie like me. I was able to go down for my first dive, but then I got seasick when I got back on the boat (for the first time in my life)… I didn’t feel forced to do my second dive, but I still tried to do it. I wasn’t able to complete my second dive though.. still they did not make me feel less than or that I was letting them or wasting their time. I would highly recommend, even if you don’t get seasick that you take something for motion sickness if you’re gonna be doing this excursion. I’m now gonna go home and do my dives at a local tank and then I’ll be back to finish my certification! This is one for the books. Highly recommended!
5Great first time scuba!
The guides for scuba were great! My instructor worked with me on the beginner skills until I was confident to submerge. She was patient and checked on me frequently while underwater. It was really fun!
5Father & Son QT in the deep
I bought this as an outing experience for my husband and son and both enjoyed it pretty much. While one did get some motion sickness (a bit of a rough-sea) the other one did just fine and expressed interest in pursuing getting certified. The instructors were thorough and patient with all beginner participants.
5The crew was first class....
The crew was first class. The safety of the passengers and crew was their foremost concern. Great safety briefing. The diving was spectacular as well.
5Amazing Experience
Josh was my divemaster. He knew the reefs like the back of his hand and gave us an awesome and unique experience! Got to see so many different species and get up close with sleeping green sea turtles. 10/10 would recommend!
5Diving is great. Bella is awesome.
My first diving experience. Booked last minute as a “might as well” experience. Was not certain it would be for me. I now plan to get certified. Bella played a big part in that. She kept me feeling safe and confident when i was still so new to breathing underwater that my body was still wanting to tell me it shouldn’t be happening. The team/captain also found us a fantastic location. I was eye to eye with a turtle the second i stopped my initial descent on the “fun dive”. Then there were plenty more things to look at after that. Although Bella also gets points here to. Inbetween checking if i was ok, she was pointing out places to look to find things like an octopus.

About Fajardo
Fajardo is a harbour town on the east coast of Puerto Rico, with a bioluminescent bay, a historic lighthouse and offshore islands.
Fajardo lies at the north-eastern corner of Puerto Rico, where the mountains of El Yunque descend towards the Atlantic coast and the Caribbean begins. The town spreads from a working harbour and marina up into the hills, and nearby the Las Cabezas de San Juan nature reserve has a Spanish colonial lighthouse of 1882, dry forest, mangroves and a boardwalk to a headland over the sea.
