Stjórnarfoss waterfall is a hidden gem nestled in the rugged landscapes of Iceland's southern region. Surrounded by lush greenery and towering cliffs, this picturesque waterfall cascades gracefully into a tranquil pool below. The name "Stjórnarfoss" translates to "Waterfall of the Steering Wheel," derived from the nearby farmstead's old waterwheel, which once provided power for the farm. With its serene atmosphere and scenic surroundings, Stjórnarfoss offers a peaceful retreat and a perfect opportunity for nature lovers to immerse themselves in Iceland's natural splendor.

5Gorgeous Locations- Great Tour!
Everything was wonderful! The van Sultan picked us up in was very nice, and he was a safe but effective driver, getting us to each location in great time. The locations themselves were absolutely beautiful and he even added another stop or two since we had some extra time. Highly recommend!
5Thank you
We had a great time and got to enjoy a few of Iceland's gorgeous waterfalls, glaciers and black beaches.
5A Long and Worthwhile Tour
Our family of 6, two grandparents and 4 grandchildren took a whole day trip with several stops along the way , to the points of Diamond Beach and The Glacier Lagoon. It is a long 12 hour trip. Our guide Lina was fantastic and made appropriate stops to see sights and gave us time to stretch and get snacks. Lina arranged the tour schedule based upon weather conditions due to rain and wind. Fortunately, we had decent weather for some of our excursion. Lina is well informed and shared insights and her knowledge. Lina was pleasant and accommodating and made the trip worthwhile and we felt very comfortable with her as our guide. She has a lovely and engaging personality. The tour company is reliable, a most important factor when hiring a tour operator on line. The van was large, clean and comfortable. While the cost is high, the tour was 12 hours and we had personalized service to meet our group's needs. One of the children left an item in the car and Lina returned it to us the next day. Thank you for a long, scenic, beautiful, memorable day.
5Beautiful sights, wonderful guide!
Lina provided a very amazing day trip to the southern glacier Lagoon region of Iceland with many wonderful stops along the way. She’s also a very kind, knowledgeable and easy-going person and helped us to learn more about the country and was very lovely to be around. We were also very relieved and happy that she was able to accommodate us on this last-minute trip because our group trip bus pickup didn’t happen. She was incredibly flexible in accommodating this last-minute booking! I would recommend her very highly and the tour itself was beautiful and once in a lifetime opportunity to see some very unusual and beautiful wonders of Iceland!
5The best way to see Iceland!!!
Sultan and his team are wonderful. Professional and accommodating. Highly recommended!!!
5Awesome glacier viewing experience!!
Great experience!! Wonderful guide, Sultan!! We really appreciated the time he took to explain all the things and places we saw, and even took us on some side trips and locations not included in the excursion itinerary. It was great. The only thing a bit confusing was that Viator didn’t clearly advertise that the boat trip to see the floating glaciers was not included in the price. Otherwise a great trip overall. Thank you, Sultan!!

About Reykjavik
Reykjavik is the northernmost capital of any nation, a colourful, compact city of art and music that opens onto Iceland's volcanic landscapes.
The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church, its tower inspired by basalt columns, rises above streets of brightly painted houses. Down by the harbour, the glass-fronted Harpa concert hall shimmers on the water, and the Sun Voyager sculpture faces the sea toward Mount Esja. Laugavegur, the main shopping street, is lined with design shops, cafés and bars.
