Itinerary
Sri Lanka, being an island, is known for her amazing beaches and views of the sea. However, in Colombo, it isn’t always easy to find a place where you can enjoy the crashing of the waves and most of all, an undisturbed view of the sunset. Galle Face Green thus attracts a large number of people, especially during the evening, although it is rarely empty, even in the afternoon when there is very little shelter from the scorching sun.
The Gangaramaya Buddhist temple is a beautiful and vibrant temple with a history that dates back over 2,000 years. ... The Nawam Perahera, conducted by the Gangarama temple is a major tourist attraction. The perehara was initially started in 1979 and has been held uninterrupted in the month of February since then.

About Bentota
Bentota is a palm-fringed beach town on Sri Lanka's south-west coast, where a wide river meets the sea and temples, turtles and mangroves lie close by.
Bentota lies on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka, where the Bentota River reaches the sea beside a long, wide beach of pale sand fringed with coconut palms. A narrow strip of land separates the sea from the river's estuary, so surf and calm water lie side by side, and fishermen work with cast nets and small boats. The coast road and railway run along the shore between Colombo and Galle.
