This is for sure the closest town from Podgorica which is in Albania and our history were connected during a centuries. Shkodër, also known as Shkodra, is a city in northwestern Albania. It is one of the oldest and most historic cities in Albania, and it is known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural scenery. Some of the top attractions in Shkodër include the Rozafa Castle. On this tour we are going to explore a little bit fortress and main streets.
A famous widespread legend about sacrificing a female victim and immurement with the aim of building a facility is traditionally orally transmitted by Albanians and connected with the construction of the Rozafa Castle. Similar legend there is also in Montenegrin legends , this is telling how much these regions were connected in the past.
Visiting beautiful resort on Albanian side of lake Skadar. This part of lake is different than in Montenegro it is more flat with a lot of places for swimming. Very nice atmosphere and great restaurant we going to visit while we enjoying in beautiful view on Montenegrin mountains.

About Podgorica
Podgorica is the capital of Montenegro, a compact city of bridges, rivers and Ottoman quarters, close to Lake Skadar and the mountains.
Podgorica stands on a plain where the Morača and Ribnica rivers meet, ringed by mountains, and it is the political and commercial capital of Montenegro. Much of the city was rebuilt after the Second World War, and it was called Titograd from 1946 to 1992. The old Ottoman quarter, Stara Varoš, keeps a clock tower and a small mosque, the Millennium Bridge crosses the Morača, and the large Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is one of the city's best-known buildings.
