Discover a secret place in Portugal, the Serra D´Arga Mountain in Viana do Castelo on a 5-hour self-guided donkey walk. Enjoy the company of a docile donkey and explore the beautiful countryside in Portugal. During the walking tour you can visit watermills, walk through many forests, visit waterfalls and much more! You will meet us and our donkey in Montaria village (meeting point) and we will share with you all the knowledge about how to handle the donkey during a circular self-guided tour. We will give you a hiking map with the route on it, hiking notes and share a mobile app that you can use on your mobile phone for free and offline to navigate duing the walk. During the tour we will provide telephone support and help in case you need. Important: only kids from 3 to 8 years old can ride our donkeys!

About Braga

Braga is a historic city in northern Portugal, known for its cathedral, Holy Week processions and the baroque stairway of Bom Jesus do Monte.

Braga was the Roman town of Bracara Augusta and has been a religious centre for centuries. Its cathedral, begun in the twelfth century, mixes Romanesque, Gothic and baroque styles. The old centre has pedestrian streets, squares and the Arco da Porta Nova, a baroque gateway; the Biscainhos Museum is set in an eighteenth-century palace, and the Santa Bárbara garden has neat hedges and flowerbeds.
