5Excellent day hiking with...
Excellent day hiking with Carlos. It was a misty rainy day but made for a magical hike! Carlos had umbrellas for us. Some parts were a little tricky with wet rocks but easy to navigate with trekking poles

A great day out with Samuel. Amazing trails, overlooks, stories about the area with a personal touch.
5Amazing scenery, excellent guide , beautiful weather-couldn’t ask for more
It was a really amazing experience especially because we had an incredibly knowledgeable guide who pointed out different species of plants and animals. The hiking part was just right, and Carlos our guide made it more interesting and enjoyable. He was also very well versed in the history of the place . The restaurant stop was also quite an experience-we had the classic alheira washed down with excellent green wine . I give this 10 stars .
5We are a family of 5 who...
We are a family of 5 who likes outdoor adventure and hiking. This was a great trip to Portugal’s national park. We had a great morning hiking a trail through forests and fields learning about the flora, fauna, and terrain. The afternoon we spent at a couple of waterfalls where we were able to swim in the pools formed in the rock. Our guide Carlos was kind and very informative. We enjoyed hearing about the area and his experiences. We would highly recommend this trip.

"National Park Tours gave us an unforgettable hiking experience! We spent two incredible days exploring Peneda-Gerês National Park and the surrounding areas with our guide, Carlos. His deep knowledge of local wildlife, plants, and regional history truly enriched our journey. The hikes with Carlos were the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Not only were the landscapes breathtaking, but we also came away with a much deeper appreciation for the area's culture and natural beauty. Carlos showed us parts of the parks we never would have experienced otherwise.
5Wonderful Hike and Tour Guide
My wife and I experienced a wonderful hike of the National Forest with our great tour guide Samuel, who was helpful and very knowledgeable about the terrain, trees, brush, animals and the area. We saw so much beauty! Samuel was fun, too. His love of the forest and passion for natural outdoor beauty enhanced our experience greatly! Thank you, Samuel and aviator!

About Braga
Braga is a historic city in northern Portugal, known for its cathedral, Holy Week processions and the baroque stairway of Bom Jesus do Monte.
Braga was the Roman town of Bracara Augusta and has been a religious centre for centuries. Its cathedral, begun in the twelfth century, mixes Romanesque, Gothic and baroque styles.
