  2. Due to its location on a pass that separates the mountains Mosor and Kozjak, the fortress served as a major source of defense in Dalmatia, especially against the Ottoman Empire. It has been a crossroad between the Mediterranean Sea and the Balkans. You will enjoy beautiful views of Split and the islands. An excellent opportunity to capture some amazing photos.

Trogir's grandest building is the Trogir Cathedral (church of St. Lawrence), whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.
