Even before it became a popular spot for relaxation, this bay has a fascinating history. Archaeological discoveries reveal the foundations of Roman country villas and the remains of the Basilica of Sts. Lawrence, offering a glimpse into its rich past. Tall pines and poplars frame the bay, adding to its natural beauty. Today, it’s the perfect place to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the simple pleasures of a summer day on the Adriatic.
After a relaxing swim and some time in the sun, we head to Supetar, the main town on the island of Brač. This charming Dalmatian town is perfect for strolling along its quaint streets, enjoying a coffee or lunch, and discovering its rich history. Supetar’s roots stretch back to Roman times, and the town is also known for the many artists who have left a lasting mark on its culture. After exploring Supetar at your own pace, we set sail back to Split, bringing a memorable half-day on the Adriatic to a perfect close.

Top-ranked sights in Split: Budikovac Island (Veliki Budikovac), Blue Lagoon Croatia (Krknjasi Bay), Peristyle Square (Peristil).
