Itinerário
Your visit starts at the Loreto, one of Prague's most important pilgrimage sites. Hidden inside stands a copy of a small stone house from Nazareth — the house where, according to Christian tradition, the Virgin Mary lived. The guide starts outside, with the story of the place and its famous carillon. Inside, it takes you to the highlights — the Santa Casa, the cloister, the baroque church and the treasury — and leaves you free to explore at your own pace.
You will descend into Nový Svět, a lane of tiny coloured houses where the noise of the city stops. Tycho Brahe lived here in 1600. Allen Ginsberg visited in 1965. And almost every house carries a golden name — you will find out why.
From there you climb back up to Hradčany Square — the square everyone crosses on the way to the castle, and almost nobody stops at. You will discover its renaissance palaces, a baroque plague column, and a gas lamp that still burns with a real flame.

- Please go directly to the Loreto Prague at the following address: Loretánské náměstí 7, 118 00 Praha 1 – Hradčany. It is just a short walk from the tram stop Pohořelec – you can take tram number 22 from the city centre. The audio guide starts right in front of the Loreto, on Loretánské náměstí.
