In two and a half hours, we will walk through the hills Alegre and Concepcion, heritage area of Valparaiso while I will be teaching you tips to make quick drawings (or sketches). We will make some stops to practice, and you will also learn some history and architecture. You don’t need any previous experience, as I will guide you through the process. About Valparaíso
Valparaíso is Chile's Pacific port, a city of brightly painted houses and old funiculars climbing steep hills above a curved bay.
The historic quarter of Valparaíso, a World Heritage Site, is spread over dozens of hills that fall steeply to the sea. Houses in every colour cling to the slopes, walls are covered in murals, and old funiculars known as ascensores still carry passengers between the port and the hilltops. Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción are the best known of the hills, with cafés, galleries and lookouts over the bay.
