5Amazing! Worth it!
My family and I had a great day with Said exploring Zanzibar! Communication with him leading up to the trip was also great - we communicated over WhatsApp as I had requested that. The day trip is in the southern parts and our hotel was in the north so it was a very long drive but we got to see a lot of the island which was great. Said shared a lot of good information and history about the region. All the places we visited were so beautiful and ending the day at Kae funk was really good. I would recommend this excursion. And reach out to Said directly for more tours of the Island!
5Great Excursion!
10/10 — Highly recommend! This excursion was even better than we expected. Although it was about a two-hour drive from the northwest coast, it was a great way to explore southeastern Zanzibar. We loved that it was a private tour, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop at our own pace. The fresh seafood lunch was delicious, the cave was peaceful and beautiful, and ending the day at a beach party with music, drinks, a bonfire, and a stunning sunset was the perfect finish. If you’re looking for a more relaxed day of exploring Zanzibar, this excursion is definitely worth it!
4Not a bad tour…but not really worth it
It’s a nice experience to see different parts of Zanzibar. So I would recommend it however, the tour guide may not be as enthusiastic as you would expect a tour guide to be. And several stuff were made without clear communication on why those staff were made with other people picked up, but I don’t know if they’re part two or not or if they were just family members as communication was very limited.

5Great experience with Saaid on Zanzibar
Our trip to Zanzibar was made even more special thanks to our driver and guide, Saaid. He took us to some incredible places, including Salaam Cave, Jozani Forest, Mtende Beach, Nakupenda Beach, and Prison Island, and each excursion was perfectly organized. Saaid was highly professional, always punctual, and very helpful. He was more than willing to answer all our questions and provide us with all the information we needed about the places we visited. His knowledge, kindness, and positive attitude made every day enjoyable and stress-free. We truly appreciated his dedication and would highly recommend Saaid to anyone visiting Zanzibar and looking for a reliable and excellent guide.
Kizimkazi is a fishing village at the southern end of Zanzibar, with dolphin bays and a mosque bearing one of East Africa's oldest dated inscriptions.
Kizimkazi lies on the south-west coast of Unguja, Zanzibar's main island, in two small villages, Dimbani and Mkunguni, on a coast of coral rock, small coves and clear shallow water. Fishermen launch wooden boats from the beach, and a small mosque at Dimbani has a stone with an Arabic inscription dated to the year 1107, among the oldest on the East African coast.
