Start your day with a 3.5 - 4 hour freedom walk along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track through native forest to Anchorage Bay. At 1.15 pm meet your skipper and sailing catamaran and enjoy a 3 hour afternoon sail catching the sea breeze to Kaiteriteri. Take in the golden beaches, bays, islands and birdsong. - Park your vehicle at the Abel Tasman National Park car park, Marahau. Start your freedom walk by yourself walking to Anchorage Bay. Approximately 3.5 - 4 hours walk, suggest 8.30 am start follow the signs to Anchorage. Meet the skipper at 1.15 pm at the yacht on Anchorage Beach.

About Motueka
Motueka is a farming town on Tasman Bay at the top of the South Island, the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park and its golden beaches.
Motueka lies on the flat delta of the Motueka River, between Nelson and the Abel Tasman coast. Orchards, vineyards and hop fields cover the plain around town, and the region is among the sunniest in New Zealand. The town itself is low-key, with a main street, a small museum and a long sandspit that shelters a tidal estuary and draws birds.
