  I want to acknowledge the instructor our family had on Saturday. He was patient and encouraging, and though not everyone did the descent, the young girl who gave it her best was not in any way considered less of or a failure. Infact his encouragement led to a character building experience for her. Thankyou for your patience. We will attempt it again.

  Best experience I’ve had. My instructors were Jodi & Elissa!. The girls were excellent they walked me through ever step of the process and were very patient given I went through three times and felt a lot more confident at the end.

  Great thing to do on our last morning in Brisbane Scary leaning out over the edge but Daniel was great at coaxing even our reluctant participants to success. Lots of cheers and smiles at the bottom!!

  Done the absailing today it was great! Loved every second of it. The instructor Martti was fantastic 10/10 experience would definitely recommend

• 5Kangaroo Point Cliffs Abseiling morning

  Jared was friendly, inviting and his safety brief was spot on. His demonstration with the ropes, safety line and what to do on the rocks if we ended up upside down (which one of us did) was easy to understand, direct and to the point. The abseiling was awesome, a 20 meter drop seemed short but we managed to have about 8 turns each which was great (we ran back up the stairs to the top of the cliffs) . Would highly recommend and would definitely go again with friends, thanks Jared for a fun morning.

About Brisbane

Brisbane is Queensland's riverside capital, a sunny subtropical city of parklands, galleries, a koala sanctuary and ferries on a looping river.

Brisbane winds along the bends of its river, with the centre on a peninsula and suburbs climbing the hills on either side. It began as a convict settlement in the 1820s, and the Old Windmill on Wickham Terrace and the Commissariat Store survive from that time. Today sandstone, glass towers and leafy streets stand together, and the Story Bridge, finished in 1940, spans the river beside the city.
