Dedicated to the deities of fire and the kitchen, it attracts many visitors seeking protection from bad luck. A unique tradition here involves buying giant protective iron chopsticks (hibashi). People take them home to ward off evil and return them to the temple once their unlucky year passes. The complex is filled with unique ways to pray and connect with the divine: The Sacred Tree Coin Ritual: Behind the shrine, visitors pick up coins placed near a sacred tree to keep in their wallets as lucky charms, returning double the amount on their next visit.
