Itinéraire
Our guide will make a stop at the Aqueduct Lookout, where you will learn the history of this majestic icon of the city of Querétaro.
They will visit this spot, where there are several important figures who did something for the city.
Here you can enter the currently active former convent, to receive an explanation about the place, the people who were important to this site throughout history.
At this stop you can obtain information about the founding of the city of Querétaro, as well as the people who were involved in it.
For us, it's the main square, or what's commonly known as the Zócalo. Here you can see the former House of the Corregidora, now the Government Palace. Near this square, you'll visit the old House of Don Bartolo to hear a terrifying story.
In this building, you can appreciate the architecture and the understated Baroque style characteristic of Querétaro. Construction began in the 16th century and was completed in the 17th century. Although located near the main square, it is not considered the city's cathedral.
The heart of Querétaro's historic center, it stands out for its French-inspired style, Porfirian-era kiosk, and the fountain of the goddess Hebe, solidifying its status as a city icon. This place also holds a story you won't believe.
It is a historical pillar of Mexico. The setting for the premiere of the National Anthem (1854), the trial of Maximilian (1867) and the Constitution of 1917, this neoclassical-style building was renamed in 1922 and is a symbol of national sovereignty.
You'll experience the ultimate sensory journey (sight, smell, and taste), guided by Certified Sommeliers. You'll leave with the knowledge of an experienced wine taster and an understanding of the region's cheese culture. You'll sample a variety of regional cheeses, salsas, mezcal or rompope creams, and regional wines.

About San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel de Allende is a colonial hill town in Mexico's central highlands, with a pink-stone church, cobbled streets, galleries and an art school.
San Miguel de Allende sits at about 1,900 metres in the Bajío highlands of Guanajuato, a town of cobbled streets and painted colonial houses built when silver and trade made the region rich. The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its pink sandstone spires, dominates the Jardín, the main square. The town takes the second half of its name from Ignacio Allende, a leader of the independence movement born here, and the historic centre is a World Heritage site.
