About Split

Split, port animé de Dalmatie bâti dans et autour du palais d'un empereur romain, avec des ferries vers certaines des plus belles îles de Croatie.

Le palais de Dioclétien, construit au tournant du IVe siècle comme résidence de retraite de l'empereur, est la vieille ville elle-même : ses murs, ses caves et ses cours abritent logements, boutiques et cafés.
