It represents the greatest example of 19th-century Romanticism in Portugal, with different influences from the Manueline and Moorish styles. The famous composer Richard Strauss named this magnificent palace the "Castle of the Holy Grail". Important: Entrance to the Pena Palace is subject to availability, and it's only possible with a previously booked date and time.
