Points forts

With a wine growing history of over 180 years, the Yarra Valley is Victoria’s oldest wine growing region. Today it is one of the world’s leading cold climate wine growing regions with internationally known names such as Domaine Chandon, St Huberts and De Bortoli. Not only is the Yarra Valley famous for its vineyards, it has many other attractions too and we can help you visit all of them. We know it’s sensible advice to not mix your drinks but what if you’re in a region where you can sample, wine, cider, beer, gin, whisky and locally made liqueurs? It’s hard not to! The great news is we have contacts across the Valley and can customise your day each and every time to ensure it’s got the perfect blend for you, your group and of course your budget. We try to not go to the venues most of the other companies go to and we also try to limit your time on this bus and will book venues that are close together to maximise your winery time.

Inclus

Ce qui est inclus

  • Private transportation
  • The standard Yarra Valley package covers 3 wine tastings at 3 different venues. Must be 18 years old to be served.
  • Air-conditioned vehicle
  • Lunch is included with all our wine tours bookings. We usually have a shared lunch which is plenty of delicious food to go around.

Itinéraire

  1. Our standard Yarra Valley itinerary includes lunch and 3 wine tastings so we always start the day with a tasting at the first stop. We have our favourite venues that we love to create an itinerary from, subject to their availability, so these may not always be the same..

    1 hEntrée incluse

  2. Our groups typically have lunch and a wine tasting at our 2nd stop of the day. We give groups around 2 hours to settle in and enjoy their lunch as well as their 2nd tasting.

    2 hEntrée incluse

  3. The 3rd stop of the day is our last tasting but we encourage groups to get comfortable with a bottle of their favourite and enjoy the scenery after the tasting. This stop lasts around 90 minutes so plenty of time to relax and chat before we start heading back.

About Melbourne

Melbourne is the capital of Victoria on the Yarra River, known for laneway cafés, street art, grand Victorian buildings and a calendar full of sport.

Melbourne grew rich on the gold rush of the 1850s, and the grand buildings from that time still stand in the grid of the city centre, among them Flinders Street Station with its yellow facade and the domed Royal Exhibition Building. Federation Square and the National Gallery of Victoria stand close to the Yarra, and trams rattle along the main streets. Narrow lanes such as Hosier Lane are covered in ever-changing street art.

Top-ranked sights in Melbourne: Loch Ard Gorge, Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road.
