Mother of the famous anchovy pouring and mistress of the crystal clear waters of the Coast, it allows you to live unforgettable days to anyone who lets himself be kissed by its waves. Unlike other more touristy caves, it has remained largely wild and untouched. Inside there are spectacular plays of light, small waterfalls and rock formations shaped over time by water. The name recalls the myth of Pandora, as the place is hidden, mysterious and difficult to reach, just like a secret treasure to discover. The cave is only accessible by sea, which makes it a “niche” Attraction. Ideal for those looking for a more adventurous and authentic experience.

About Salerno

Salerno is a port city at the eastern end of the Amalfi Coast, with a Norman cathedral, a palm-lined seafront and a castle on the hill above.

Salerno curves around a gulf with a long palm-lined waterfront, the Lungomare, and a medieval centre of narrow lanes behind it. The cathedral, begun in the eleventh century under the Norman duke Robert Guiscard, has an arcaded atrium and a tall bell tower, and the city was home to the Schola Medica Salernitana, one of the earliest medical schools in Europe. Above, Arechi Castle looks out over the bay.
