Points forts

Visit of a traditional farm dating back to 1800, where, from 5 generation, different kind of cheese have been produced from the milk milked by its own grazing cows. It is possible to see the whole production process, from the manual milking of the “Frisona” cows to the cheese tasting. Our guests can also enjoy themselves : following the instructions of the Master Cheese Maker they can try to make mozzarella and fresh cheeses such as giuncata or primosale. Final tasting of fresh and seasoned cheeses with the honey produced in the farm and bread baked in a wood oven , with a good glass of local wine.

About Brindisi

Brindisi is an Adriatic port in southern Puglia, the end of the Roman Via Appia, with castles, a deep natural harbour and the white towns of Puglia nearby.

Brindisi has been a harbour since Roman times, and its natural port, a bay with two inlets said to resemble a stag's antlers, made it the gateway to Greece and the East. The Via Appia, the Roman road from Rome, ended here, and a tall Roman column near the waterfront marks the spot. The poet Virgil died in Brindisi in 19 BC. The Swabian Castle and the Aragonese Alfonsino fort guard the harbour.
