Welcome to an Northern Lights chase designed for people who prefer smaller groups and more personalized service. This evening excursion departs from downtown Tromsø but which direction we drive depends on the latest weather forecast. To experience the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), the main thing we are searching for is clear skies well away from the bright lights of the city. Sometimes we drive out to the coast, sometimes inland and other times past three fjords up to the Finnish border. We leave the final decision as late as possible to maximize your chases of achieving what you came for – seeing the majestic Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) dancing in the sky. When we find the perfect spot, we park the minibus and wait for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) to appear. In the meantime, we help you adjust your camera so you can take good photos of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). We also serve hot drinks and biscuits while keeping an eye on the sky.

About Tromsø

Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.

Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound. Founded in the eighteenth century, it grew as a base for Arctic hunters and explorers, and the Polar Museum recalls expeditions that set out from the harbour. The Arctic Cathedral, with its angled glass front, stands across the bridge, and wooden houses fill the old centre.
