Welcome to an Northern Lights chase designed for people who prefer smaller groups and more personalized service. This evening excursion departs from downtown Tromsø but which direction we drive depends on the latest weather forecast. Sometimes we drive out to the coast, sometimes inland and other times past three fjords up to the Finnish border. About Tromsø

Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.

Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound. Founded in the eighteenth century, it grew as a base for Arctic hunters and explorers, and the Polar Museum recalls expeditions that set out from the harbour. The Arctic Cathedral, with its angled glass front, stands across the bridge, and wooden houses fill the old centre.
