The trek here not only provides a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Himalayas but also get to know the local culture and traditions, especially the Sherpa community. The prime highlights of the trek are beautiful monasteries, Sir Edmund Hillary hospital and schools, Everest National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with varied floras and faunas.
