Hello! I am a real Basque, I show you Biarritz and the Basque Country, with prehistoric culture, very ancient and particular. I've been visiting for 2 years with great success. We start from the old port and then the Rocher de la Vierge where we have an overview of Biarritz and the Basque Country. Then we walk to the city center: I tell the story by telling you about the architecture, the iconic buildings. I bring good humor, poetry and a connection to nature. I take Biarritz back to the Basque Country by explaining our language, our culture and its religion of nature which has its source in prehistory. I invite you to tourist trails for gastronomy, sports and cultural Things to do. I am French Basque from Biarritz, I speak Basque and I give you an authentic experience. I welcome you in good spirits so that you may leave the Basque country wiser.

Itinéraire
From the Rock of the Virgin we have a general view of Biarritz, the Pyrenees and the Basque Country. I begin to explain the geography and history of Biarritz and the Basque Country.
I speak before of the Palace of the Emperor Napoleon 3 and the Empress Eugénie. Then we explore the aristocratic life of the time and the Russian presence with the Orthodox Church.
We end in the city center with the art deco buildings including the Casino and the castle of Coco Chanel

About Biarritz
Biarritz is a seaside resort on France's Basque coast, with surf beaches, Belle Époque villas and the Pyrenees inland.
Biarritz began as a fishing and whaling village and became fashionable when Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, built a summer villa here in the 1850s, now a grand hotel above the Grande Plage. Rocks and small coves line the shore, and the Rocher de la Vierge, a rock topped by a statue and joined to the shore by a footbridge, is the town's symbol. Belle Époque villas, a lighthouse and a Russian Orthodox church complete the scene.
