We start from the old port and then the Rocher de la Vierge where we have an overview of Biarritz and the Basque Country. Then we walk to the city center: I tell the story by telling you about the architecture, the iconic buildings. I bring good humor, poetry and a connection to nature. I take Biarritz back to the Basque Country by explaining our language, our culture and its religion of nature which has its source in prehistory. About Biarritz

Biarritz is a seaside resort on France's Basque coast, with surf beaches, Belle Époque villas and the Pyrenees inland.

Biarritz began as a fishing and whaling village and became fashionable when Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, built a summer villa here in the 1850s, now a grand hotel above the Grande Plage. Rocks and small coves line the shore, and the Rocher de la Vierge, a rock topped by a statue and joined to the shore by a footbridge, is the town's symbol. Belle Époque villas, a lighthouse and a Russian Orthodox church complete the scene.
