With a maximum of 6 participants per instructor, you'll receive personalised coaching from qualified instructors. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build confidence, our award-winning lessons are safe, supportive and fun. Byron's gentle waves make it the perfect place to learn. Your experience includes approximately 2 hours of coaching on the beach and in the water. Please allow around 3 hours for check-in, equipment fitting, your lesson and getting changed. We did the 1400 surf lesson, our guide was very insightful about the ocean & taught the basics very well. Would definitely recommend if never tried surfing before!

About Byron Bay
Byron Bay is a relaxed coastal town in northern New South Wales, with surf beaches, a historic lighthouse and the easternmost point of mainland Australia.
Cape Byron, the easternmost point of mainland Australia, has a white lighthouse from 1901 and a walking track around the headland, where dolphins swim below and humpback whales pass offshore on their winter and spring migrations. The town has a long, gently curving beach, with surfers at The Pass and quieter sand at Wategos. Offshore, the Julian Rocks marine reserve draws divers to see turtles, rays and, in season, sharks.
