  • 5A truly fun morning in Japan!

We had a fantastic time at this event! The pickup was straightforward, the hosts and the retired wrestlers were kind, funny, and charismatic, and it was so fun to participate in or watch the sumo practice! We learned a lot about the sumo culture and also had a really fun morning :) I would definitely recommend!

Fun and interactive experience with very good English translation from the guides. The ex sumo wrestlers were fully engaging and easy going. Willing to answer all questions and the chanko food was delicious!

  • 5Fabulous Interactive Sumo Experience

The entire tour surpassed our expectations. We were given an overview of the entire sumo experience by our guide Mihori (she was fabulous) and by 2 retired sumo wrestlers. The tour included interactive experiences with wrestlers in the sumo stable, as well as a traditional sumo lunch. We highly recommend both Magical Tours, as well as this specific adventure

About Kawasaki

Kawasaki is a long city between Tokyo and Yokohama, with a big temple, a village of old farmhouses and a museum for Doraemon's creator.

Kawasaki is a long, narrow city stretching along the Tama River from Tokyo Bay into the hills, between Tokyo and Yokohama, with factories on the waterfront and suburbs inland. Kawasaki Daishi, the temple of Heiken-ji, draws crowds at New Year, and the street leading to it sells traditional sweets and hand-cut candy.
