Korčula is a wonderful place to visit! History, art and present day life tell the story of a town sculpted in white stone 1000 years ago. You'll also hear about Marco Polo and his complicated and intriguing connection with Korčula. I am a licenced tourist guide, born and raised in Korčula. 5Nice introduction to Old...
Nice introduction to Old Town Korcula. Saša shared with us some of the town’s history - some old buildings, and newer ones too! Saša also shared some of Korcula’s history and its place in Adriatic maritime trade. Very informative.
5Korcula Old Town tour
Sasha provided a wonderful tour of Korcula for us. Not only was he a wealth of knowledge of the history of his home town he was able to show us a few things that are the little hidden gems to the town. We had another tour booked otherwise we would have joined him for coffee and some insight!
5Local guide
Knowledgeable native bringing local history of both old and new. Personable and professional Highly recommend
5A Great Tour of Korcula Town
We were in Korcula for only one night and were so happy we got to tour the town with Sasa. We did the 2 hour tour and we got to see the town with a local. Sasa has great passion for his town and is knowledgable about Korcula and its vast history. He was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had, highly recommended.
5Thank you Saša! Great walking tour.
Very informative and interesting....local guide Saša was really engaging and knows everything about the town. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.
5Great experience
Great experience. Sasha is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Croatian history and culture. Our tour focused on the Palace, but we learned so much more about Croatia and Korcula. Highly recommend this tour.

About Korčula
Korčula is a green Adriatic island in Croatian Dalmatia, whose walled old town on a small peninsula claims to be the birthplace of Marco Polo.
Korčula Town sits on a small peninsula at the island's eastern end, its medieval walls and round towers rising straight from the sea. The streets inside branch off the main one like the bones of a fish, a plan that lets sea breezes in. St Mark's Cathedral has a belltower that dominates the skyline, and a house said to be Marco Polo's birthplace stands nearby.
Top-ranked sights in Korčula: St. Mark’s Cathedral (Korcula Cathedral).
