- Day 1: TASHKENT Wellcome to Uzbekistan! A driver holding your name on a pape will pick up all travelers from the International airport in Tashkent and transfer to the hotel. Free day.
- Day 2: TASHKENT Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 Meet the guide at the lobby. Full day excursion program in Tashkent. You will visit Amir Timur Square, Amir Temur Museum, Khast Imam Square, Kukeldash Madrasah, Chorsu bazaar Independence square, Minor mosque, Museum of Applied art and Tashkent metro. Transfer to the hotel. Resting time in the evening. Overnight .
- Day 3: TASHKENT-KHIVA Breakfast at the hotel. 06:00 Transfer to Tashkent airport. 07:00 flight Tashkent-Urganch by Uzbekistan Airways. 8.30 Arrival in Urganch. The driver and guide will meet you in Urganch airport. Transfer to Khiva by sedan car. 9.30 Arrival in Khiva. About Tashkent
Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, an ancient Silk Road city of wide Soviet-era avenues, decorated metro stations, old madrasas and big bazaars.
Tashkent has been a trading city on the Silk Road for over two thousand years, but a major earthquake in 1966 destroyed much of it, and the modern capital was rebuilt with broad avenues, big squares and Soviet-era buildings. The old city, Eski Shahar, survives in pockets, with narrow lanes and mud-brick houses. The Khast Imam complex has madrasas and mosques, and its library holds the Uthman Quran, one of the oldest copies of the Quran.
