  This tour absolutely blew me away, from pick up to drop off. Barbara was phenomenal, and I came away wishing I’d booked with Ecotours earlier in my holiday, so I had time to go on all their other trips! The kayaking itself was spectacular, but the real highlight was the insight into Vanuatu itself, and the passion Barbara had for her country. I learned so much more than I ever expected. How many pluses can I add to A? A++++++++++++

  A lovely morning on the river with Eco Tours. Lovely crew. Nice easy paddle. From booking to return back to our hotel everything was easy, safe and fun.

  Excellent experience because of Daniel and Barbara. They were knowledgeable, friendly and competent as guides. Nothing wrong with this area of the tour 5*. The refreshments provided were top notch. The value for money grading is because for NZ$123 I would have hoped for a bit longer on the water.

About Port Vila

Port Vila is the capital of Vanuatu on the island of Efate, a harbour town of markets, lagoons, waterfalls and kava bars in the South Pacific.

Port Vila lies on the south-west coast of Efate, in the South Pacific archipelago of Vanuatu, around a sheltered harbour with small islands offshore. Vanuatu was jointly ruled by Britain and France until independence in 1980, and Port Vila still uses Bislama, English and French, with French bakeries and cafés on its streets. The central market, piled with produce and handicrafts, is the town's meeting place, and the Vanuatu Cultural Centre records island traditions.
